What This Policy Covers

Photo2Ads is a product operated by West North Labs LLC. This Cookie Policy explains how Photo2Ads uses cookies and similar technologies on photo2ads.com, why we use them, and how you can control optional analytics.

This policy should be read with our Privacy Policy. It does not mean that every technology listed is active for every visitor, device, or page.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

A cookie is a small text file that a website asks a browser to store. Cookies can maintain a signed-in session, remember a setting, or distinguish one browser from another for measurement.

"Similar technologies" include local storage, session storage, pixels, tags, and identifiers stored or read by a browser. Local storage is not a cookie, but it can remember information between visits and is covered here because it serves a related function.

Essential Technologies

Essential cookies and storage support services you request and cannot be rejected through our analytics control without making parts of Photo2Ads stop working. They may include:

  • Authentication and session cookies used by Better Auth to keep you signed in, connect your request to the correct account, and protect account actions;
  • Security and infrastructure technologies used by Photo2Ads and Cloudflare to deliver requests, prevent abuse, apply rate limits, and maintain service reliability;
  • Billing handoff state needed to preserve a selected plan or Credit Pack while you sign in or move to a payment provider; and
  • Preference and workflow storage that remembers a light or dark theme, an in-progress generation, Studio settings, saved prompt favorites, or another choice made on your device.

The exact name and duration of an essential cookie can vary with authentication, infrastructure, and security configuration. Session cookies may end when the browser session or account session ends; preference storage can remain until it is replaced or cleared.

Analytics Technologies

Photo2Ads currently uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand aggregate public-page use, such as which pages are visited, the referring page, approximate location, device and browser category, and interaction events.

In production, Photo2Ads blocks GA4 until you choose Accept analytics or enable analytics through Manage cookie preferences. If you reject analytics, the Photo2Ads analytics-consent choice is stored locally so we can honor that decision.

Google Analytics may set cookies such as _ga and a property-specific ga<container-id> after consent. Google's published documentation says the main _ga cookie can last up to two years. Actual duration can be shorter if you delete browser data or Google changes its service. Learn more in Google's cookie documentation.

Photo2Ads does not currently use advertising cookies, third-party behavioral-advertising pixels, or social-sharing cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and apply any consent requirements before enabling them.

Google Sign-In

Photo2Ads offers Google sign-in and may offer Google One Tap. When the feature is available and you choose it, Google may read or set its own cookies or similar identifiers to authenticate you, prevent fraud, remember your Google session, and display the sign-in experience.

Google controls those technologies under its own policies. Rejecting Photo2Ads analytics does not necessarily sign you out of Google or prevent a Google sign-in action that you request, because sign-in is a separate service function.

Browser Storage We Use

Photo2Ads uses local storage and session storage for limited browser-side state. Examples include:

  • theme to remember light or dark appearance;
  • photo2ads:analytics-consent to remember granted or denied analytics consent;
  • temporary generation state so the Studio can reconnect to a pending job;
  • Studio draft settings and file-update signals;
  • saved prompt-library favorites; and
  • short-lived pricing intent while moving through authentication.

These values remain on the device until Photo2Ads replaces them, their workflow completes, the browser clears them, or you remove site data. Browser storage may contain internal identifiers or settings, but it should not be used to store your password or payment-card number.

You can choose Reject analytics, Accept analytics, or Manage preferences in the Photo2Ads consent panel. Essential technologies remain active because they provide the site, authentication, security, billing handoff, and requested Studio features.

Use the Manage cookie preferences button near the top of this policy whenever you want to change the analytics choice. The new selection applies on this browser and device. If you use a different browser, clear site data, or block local storage, you may need to choose again.

When you turn analytics off after previously accepting it, Photo2Ads disables further analytics loading, reloads the page to stop active measurement scripts, and attempts to remove first-party Google Analytics cookies set for Photo2Ads. Information already sent before withdrawal may still be retained by Google under its policies and applicable law.

You can also use browser controls to view, block, or delete cookies and site data. Blocking all cookies can prevent sign-in, account settings, payment handoffs, and other requested features from working. Browser help pages explain the controls available for your browser.

Data Collected Through These Technologies

Depending on the technology and your choices, collected information may include:

  • cookie or browser identifiers;
  • IP address and approximate location;
  • browser, device, language, and operating-system information;
  • pages, referrers, timestamps, and interaction events;
  • authentication, security, and session status; and
  • preference or pending-workflow state stored on your device.

We use this information as described in our Privacy Policy, including to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and, when permitted, measure Photo2Ads.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when our technology, providers, consent controls, or legal obligations change. We will publish the new version here and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may receive additional notice when reasonably appropriate.
